Three hundred years ago, Catelyn knew, those heights had been covered with forest, and only a handful of fisherfolk had lived on the north shore of the Blackwater Rush where that deep, swift river flowed into the […]
Jaime would be here once he knew of her plight. “Come at once,” she had written to him. “Help me. Save me. I need you now as I have never needed you before. I love you. I love you. I love you. Come at once.” […]

Arya got to her feet, moving warily. The heads were all around her. She touched one, curious, wondering if it was real. Her fingertips brushed a massive jaw. It felt real enough. The bone was smooth beneath her […]
Great work on the review, guys! I can’t wait to see Shadow decks fully come into their own!
Drogon raised his head, blood dripping from his teeth. The hero leapt onto his back and drove the iron spearpoint down at the base of the dragon’s long scaled neck.Dany and Drogon screamed as one.The hero leaned i […]
@OKTarg – #freepreston!
@Quill and Tankard – Come on, guys. Inn and Double Dealing are at least “uncommons.” They’re way too complicated to be printed at common!
I’m glad you caught the reference! I actually think that an effect like Ser Preston Greenfield from 1.0 is just the sort of thing that Lannister needs….a Hound-type jumping body helping with the Shadows effects. Would it be too strong with Shadows as an any-Phase…..maybe, but let’s be honest Lannister could use the help!
Oh yes, they do need the help! At least, for something that nudges into a non-rush build being viable.
Even a bouncing body that cost 1 each time would probably be a boon on that front.
“Do be careful, child,” Varys urged. “King’s Landing is not wholly safe these days. I know these streets well, and yet I almost feared to come today, alone and unarmed as I was. Lawless men are everywhere in this […]
Ah, Lazy Leo…. continuing the grand FFG tradition of giving the enabler cards (filtering, draw, etc that lead to combo decks) and the counter cards to the same faction.
Wow is it strange comparing the ratings of Umber Loyalist and Naïve Scout. Surely the Loyalist is drastically better, but the ratings don’t reflect that.
Definitely think the Loyalist is being drastically underrated here. Efficient body, solid draw, and a drawback that might not even be a drawback when played in the right kind of deck.
Agreed. I think the Loyalist is going to be a real beast of a card for Stark. I mean, look at it this way, would I be super pumped to play that card if it was printed for literally any faction? Yes. Yes I would.
Even prisoners have ears, and she had heard all the talk at Deepwood Motte, when King Stannis and his captains were debating this march. Ser Justin had opposed it from the start, along with many of the knights and […]

Ser Arys Oakheart pulled up his hood to cover his face. It would not do for him to be recognized. A fortnight past, a trader had been butchered in the shadow city, a harmless man who’d come to Dorne for fruit and […]
Very strong pack. I think there is enough discard effects out of Targ to make Unexpected Return a serious consideration in a lot of banner decks, but main house as well, so it pained me to see it at the bottom of the list. No longer will I be afraid to pitch something higher cost for Plaza of Pride 🙂 But it was a nice read!
Always love these reviews. Thanks for adding card images to accompany the reviews! Keep up the excellent work, folks.
The inclusion of Burning the Dead just seems to point more strongly that FFG is planning a deeper push on Rookery, doesn’t it?
Arianne raised a tear-streaked face. “How could he know?” she asked the captain. “I was so careful. How could he know?”
“Someone told.” Hotah shrugged. “Someone always tells.”

Hey I really liked this content. Nice to have these reviews with every chapter pack. Personally, I think it would be nice to have pictures of the cards to reference when reading the reviews. Otherwise, awesome work and thanks for the reviews!
I’ll get with @Scantrell24 . It should be pretty similar to inserting the images in the CGDB reviews.
MUST include images.
If only HTML had an image tag. Maybe it could be
<img>or something similar.
Now with something on the order of 63% more cards! Fresh new minty flavor!
Much better now.

Wow, I can’t believe Q&T rated Green Dreams a 2 out of 5. It’s woefully underpowered compared to any other agenda we have available. Not only is there the opportunity cost problem of giving up any other agenda in order to use this, but you’re also effectively giving up all faction kneel cards like Seastone Chair, I Never Bet Against my Family, Iron Bank Will Have its Due, etc. You can’t reasonably include them and take a turn off from using the agenda in order to use one of them. Maximal use is like 4-5 times per game, right? Dropping that down to maybe 2 is just crazy. That’s nowhere near enough to justify it.
@scantrell24, Are you seeing Stark Rains right now? Or are you expecting it to be a thing with Nymeria? I don’t see it at all right now.
Can’t believe Favor of the Old Gods got a positive number. That card sucks.
